FYIInfluencer agency Gushcloud signs MOU with Korean communications firm

Gushcloud International ,a global influencer marketing, entertainment and talent agency, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Daehong Communications, the marketing unit of South Korea’s fifth largest conglomerate, Lotte Group.

This agreement signifies the collaboration between both international companies to combine synergies and provide brands and key clients 360°marketing strategies and turnkey solutions in Asia.

Through this partnership, Gushcloud International will share her resources within the fields of influencer and content marketing within Asia; and Daehong Communications will provide her deep insights and competencies with regards to integrated marketing strategies that include offline strategies throughout her 36 years working with the Lotte Group’s consumer brands.

According to a recent 2018 Statista report, the global digital advertising market is expected to grow to almost US$400 billion by 2022 while the influencer marketing industry is projected

to reach US$5 billion (S$6.6 billion) this year. The report demonstrates the positive outlook of influencer marketing globally.

“Digital marketing is essential for domestic companies to break into foreign markets today because the media environment is experiencing a digital shift. Hence we believe that with Gushcloud being our partner in Asia, we will be able to tap on their existing 9 offices and relationship network with top influencers, to help global brands solve their marketing problems more efficiently,” said Mr Kap Lee, CEO of Daehong Communications.

The MOU provides that Gushcloud International will work closely with Daehong Communications to penetrate the South Korean markets via influencer marketing more meaningfully.

In addition, the two parties will work closely to create awareness for Lotte Group’s key consumer brands into parts of Asia. Conversely, Daehong Communications aims to reinforce its global digital competency to target important overseas markets such as China and Southeast Asia, namely Indonesia and Vietnam.

“We are very honored to be working with Daehong Communications, under the Lotte Group umbrella on this partnership. We believe that Daehong Communications will bring in her 36 years of deep insights and experience into this partnership. We will learn from them and support their move into Asia,” Miss Althea Lim, co-founder and co-CEO of Gushcloud

International said.

Mr Ng Siang Hang, recently appointed CEO of the Marketing Group, Gushcloud International adds: “With Daehong Communications, we are more confident to target global brands and

offer them 360°marketing solutions in Asia. We will also start working with Daehong Communications to build some of Lotte Group’s key brands and kickstart their entries into

Southeast Asia.”

Gushcloud International, which has offices in nine countries (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Korea, Japan and USA) globally maintains Asia’s largest network of influencers, celebrities and content creators.

The company’s network of over 12,000 influencers and Daehong Communications’ marketing services will see both companies working together to expand global business opportunities by sharing their resources and competencies.

Just last year, Gushcloud International successfully raised US$3M from YG Investment, and it has since moved forward in expanding her regional presence in Asia. The global

marketing, talent and entertainment company will be eyeing her entry into China and Australia by the end of 2018.
